Professional in General Surgery from the Universidad del Valle, post graduation studies in Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Positivo University and the Jacques Perissat Institute in the city of Curitiba Brazil, specialization in health administration, with work experience in minimally invasive surgery, abdominal wall, bariatric and metabolic surgery and oncological surgery, in addition to the clinical and administrative area.

Founder and Coordinator of the Institutional Obesity Program of the Hospital Universitario del Valle and the Service of hernias and abdominal wall defects until December 2022, where he started the second specialty in oncological surgery with the University of Valle, being part of the Oncological Surgery Team of the multidisciplinary team of the Cancer Management of the Institution.
